Online games that are believed to have an adverse impact on youngsters were recently blocked in the UAE. Games such as Roblox, My Friend Cayla, Blue Whale, Cloudpets, and Mariam have been clocked in this region on an order from Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, UAE Attorney-General.
The Attorney General took this move after receiving reports about the adverse impact these games can have on youngsters’ personality development and their family lives. Experts believe that these games can also corrupt youngsters to adopt a conduct harmful to the society.

In efforts to ensure complete blockage of these games, the Attorney General has directed the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) to collaborate with telecommunications firms and internet service providers.
As you read this article, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is further investigating other games (Mostly online) that might have an adverse impact on children, and will submit a report to the Public Attorney.
