If you logged into British Airways’ website any time between 2158 GMT on August 21 and 2045 GMT on September 5 chances are that your personal and financial details are at risk.
Recently hackers broke into the servers of British Airways and stole data involving 380,000 bank cards.
The airline states that personal and financial details of customers making bookings between Aug 21 and Sep 5 were stolen.
The airline has advised anyone who believes being impacted by the hack can contact their bank or credit card provider and follow their recommendations. According to a statement from BA, the airline will contact customers and will manage any claims on an individual basis.

While British Airways is investigating the ‘urgent’ matter, it claims that the stolen data did not include travel or passport details.
According to the airline, the matter is under control, and its website is working normally now, and customers can safely log in to its website now.
It said customers due to travel could check in online as normal as the incident had been resolved.
