There’s virtually nothing under the sun that Dubai doesn’t have to offer a die-hard shopper, food connoisseur, or entertainment lover. In case you have been finding it difficult to trace what to buy where, and Google has not been particularly helpful, now you have a service that will make life a lot easier! It’s called Walif.

Whether you are looking for a plumber, a lawyer, a romantic restaurant or a gym, Walif knows exactly what you need in Dubai. And it almost always suggests a place of your preference.

When we search for things online, we most instinctively also look out for others’ recommendations on what we are looking for. Walif makes it easier for us to seek user reviews by listing other registered users (without revealing their personal details).

Become a certified Digital Marketer who everyone wants to hire!

You can search for the following on Walif:

  • Food, products, services, important locations
  • People listed on Walif
  • Favorites listed by other registered users

This service currently doesn’t give you many results for very specific terms. E.g. I searched words like geometry set, it didn’t suggest seller names (even applying advanced filters didn’t work), but searching for stationery show closer results.

One of the biggest plus points of this app is, it lists various kinds of products and services in one portal. Currently, there are many websites in Dubai that specialize in specific categories such as food, laundry etc. and telecom operators such as Etisalat and Du have their own yellow pages, the contacts they list are limited to their subscribers only.

This is not a service developed by the Dubai government (e.g. Shail), it’s promoted by Tejuri Com LLC.
